TrustPulse makes it easy to integrate with Google Analytics. If you\u2019ve integrated your TrustPulse campaign with Google Analytics you can view detailed impression and conversion reports.<\/p>\n

In this article, you\u2019ll learn how to view TrustPulse campaign events in Google Analytics.<\/p>\n

Before you start, this guide assumes you\u2019ve already connected your campaign with Google Analytics.<\/p>\n

It will take 48 hours for Google Analytics to process the initial data we send them. After that time, it takes up to 24 hours for Google Analytics to process campaign event data. If you need to check campaign data sooner we recommend using Google Analytics\u2019 Realtime feature as shown in this guide.<\/p>\n

In-house analytics data from TrustPulse can be viewed at any time following this guide.<\/p>\n

You need to be on a TrustPulse Pro plan<\/strong> or higher to use this feature.<\/div>\n

<\/span>GA4 Properties<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
Required: Custom Dimensions<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Before you can run reports following this guide, it is necessary to first create custom dimensions in Google Analytics for your GA4 Property.<\/p>\n

Following this Google Analytics\u2019 guide<\/a> to create custom dimensions, take the following actions:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Sign into your Google Analytics account.<\/li>\n
  2. Click Admin<\/a>, and navigate to the property to which you want to add custom dimensions<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    3. In the PROPERTY<\/em> column, click Custom Definitions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    4. You\u2019ll create two new Custom Dimensions: TP Campaign Name<\/strong> and TP Campaign ID<\/strong>. For both, set the Scope<\/strong> to Event, and select the associated Event parameter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    5. Check the Active<\/strong>\u00a0box to start collecting data and see the dimension in your reports right away.<\/p>\n

    6. Click Create<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    <\/span>Realtime Reports<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Using Google Analytics\u2019 Realtime report, you can view campaign events that have taken place in the last 30 minutes by following these steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Be sure you are logged into your Google Analytics account.<\/p>\n

    2. Open the Realtime report<\/a> for the Google Analytics Property you\u2019ve connected to your TrustPulse campaign.<\/p>\n

    3. Viewing the default report you can find the trustpulse_close<\/strong>, trustpulse_click<\/strong> and trustpulse_view<\/strong> data in the Event Count<\/strong>\u00a0card.<\/p>\n

    4. Select trustpulse_close<\/strong> or trustpulse_click<\/strong> or trustpulse_view<\/strong>\u00a0from the Event Count card.<\/p>\n

    5. Next, select\u00a0tp_campaign_id <\/strong>or\u00a0tp_campaign_name<\/strong>, depending on how you\u2019d like to identify your specific campaign in the Realtime report.<\/p>\n

    6. In this example, we selected tp_campaign_name<\/strong> a campaign is displayed. Here you can track the realtime reporting of event data for your specific campaign to test that it is working as you intend.<\/p>\n
